Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal to sign Ousmane Diomande, with talks between the clubs reaching an advanced stage in recent days.
The 22-year-old has been identified as a key target for new Forest boss Oliver Glasner, and sources indicate a final agreement is now within reach, though not yet confirmed.
Diomande has a £68.2m release clause, but Forest are pushing to secure the Ivory Coast international for a fee below that figure.
The defender has made more than 150 senior first-team appearances throughout his career and has earned 15 caps for the Ivory Coast national team, whom he helped reach the World Cup knockout stages for the first time.
